Shipbuilding contract for 1,100 TEU container vessels

SUMEC Marine Co., Ltd. (SUMEC Marine) has signed a shipbuilding contract for two new 1,100 TEU container vessels.

Featuring a conventional fuel design with methanol-ready configuration, the vessels fully comply with Phase III Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) requirements and relevant Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII) regulations. 

They're green and eco-friendly models that integrate economic efficiency, a safety performance and intelligent operations.

Overseas backup power station project

SUMEC Machinery & Electric Co., Ltd. (SUMEC Machinery) has won the bid for the 37 MW long-running power station project of KAHM&KABS in Africa.
