Kenyan president inaugurates Mariakani 400/220kV Substation

The Mariakani 400/220kV Substation Project, undertaken by China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd (CAMCE), a member enterprise of CMEC Group, as EPC contractor, recently held its commissioning ceremony. Kenyan President William Ruto officiated at the event and commended the project for its quality management, construction organization and delivery performance.

As a key node of Kenya's national backbone power grid, the project will optimize local grid structure, enhance cross-regional power dispatch capacity and improve power supply stability and reliability — providing robust energy support for Kenya's industrial growth and livelihood improvement.

Peru Incahuasi Drinking Water and Wastewater System Upgrade and Renovation Project successfully handed over

The Incahuasi drinking water and wastewater system upgrade project in Peru, delivered by CMEC Group as general contractor, has officially signed the final handover agreement.

The project comprises three new reservoirs and the renovation of three existing ones, directly benefiting approximately 15,000 local residents. Adopting a localized management model, the project achieves a 98% local employment rate, forming replicable management practices for overseas projects. Upon completion, it will markedly improve local living conditions and the regional ecological environment — building a strong brand reputation for CMEC Group as it deepens its market footprint and cooperation in Latin America.
